Puy du Fou

Overview

Puy du Fou is a show-based theme park operating company in Les Epesses, France. Puy du Fu’s first park started in 1978 as a small show, Cinéscénie, themed on French history and folk stories. Over the next 40 years, Cinéscénie had been expanded into a spectacular show with 2,500 performers, and a theme park (Grand Parc) built around the show. Puy du Fou has since grown into a large-scale, overnight destination with millions of annual visitors.

In recent years, Puy du Fou has actively explored international expansion opportunities. It developed a spectacular daytime show, Ravelijn for the Efteling park in the Netherlands, followed by a Puy du Fou España park opened in Spain in March 2021. Puy du Fou has been planning and developing multiple projects in China, including an immersive show in Shanghai and a Puy du Fou theme park destination in Dali, Yunan Province. All of the shows created by Puy du Fou internationally have adapted to the local culture and history.
