It is approximately 80 km north of Guangzhou and will be the third large-scale tourism resort within Chimelong’s portfolio.
The resort will feature an animal theme park, a water park, a retail, dining, and entertainment (RDE) zone with live entertainment, cinemas, sports activity, retail, and dining options, as well as four animal themed hotels with a total of 3,500 rooms.
The second and third phases will feature a botanical garden, an insect museum, outdoor adventure activities, a large-scale safari, and more themed hotels.
Chimelong Qingyuan International Forest Resort resumed construction in late 2020.
