Announced in 2020, the Sunac Hangzhou Bay Culture Tourism City is located in Haiyan County of Zhejiang province. The Sunac theme parks in this project will replace the discontinued Six Flags Haiyan park, which was planned at the same site. The full project will cover a large area of 1,700 hectares of land.
The plan for the Sunac Hangzhou Bay Culture Tourism City comprises four individual parks, including an outdoor water park, an outdoor theme park, a children’s park and an indoor ski park. Additionally, the project contains an outlet park with more than 200 brands, a commercial retail and dining street, a resort hotel and significant residential components. The full project is targeted to complete in 2025, while the Hangzhou Bay Sunac Water Park has already opened in the summer of 2021.
