Epic Universe

In August 2019, NBCUniversal announced that it was building a new theme park, Epic Universe in Orlando. Epic Universe will be the third theme park and fourth gate at Universal Orlando Resort.

The park will be located a few miles south of the resort. The reported land area for the park is 750 acres (300 hectares). It will be comprised of a theme park, entertainment center, hotels, shops, and F&B.

After pausing construction in July 2020, the park resumed the construction in 2021. Originally set to open in 2023, the opening year of the park is expected to be delayed to 2025.
