Walt Disney World Expansion / 2023-2033

In an investor call in April 2023, Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed that Disney planned to invest $17 billion in Walt Disney World Resort over the next 10 years, which would potentially create 13,000 jobs for the area.

According to a separate interview with the chairman of Disney parks, experiences and products, the investment will cover projects including Epcot’s transformation, a new Star Wars attraction, a Tiana-themed attraction, and other projects that are still in the early development process. Additional details have not been released.
